Client targets & handouts

Keep a roster, calculate evidence-based targets for each client, and print a handout with your name on it. Free, no account, and your client records never reach our servers.

Where your client data lives

Client records you create here are stored in this browser's local storage. They are not sent to this site, we cannot see them, and we cannot recover them for you. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or switching device or browser will lose them — export a backup and keep it somewhere you control. Food searches in the tracker do reach our servers, because they are proxied to USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret and Open Food Facts, and our host records standard request logs — but those requests carry food names, never your client records. On a shared computer, use Clear all data before you walk away.

On HIPAA and GDPR

Because your client records never reach our servers, we do not receive, store, or transmit protected health information, so we are not acting as your business associate and we do not offer a Business Associate Agreement. That is not the same as telling you HIPAA does not apply to your practice — it applies to you, based on whether you conduct electronic standard transactions such as insurance claims, and your own obligations still cover data sitting on your device.

We are not your lawyers, and we do not display a “HIPAA compliant” badge, because no software is compliant on its own. If you bill insurance electronically, or you practise in the EU or UK where health data is a special category under Article 9, confirm your position with your own counsel or compliance adviser.

Scope of practice

You are responsible for practising within your own credentials and your state or country's scope-of-practice rules. Some jurisdictions restrict individualised nutrition counselling to licensed practitioners, and some require unlicensed practitioners to give clients specific written disclosures. This tool does not check either, and the handout's footer does not satisfy a disclosure requirement that applies to you.

What this is not

Stated plainly so you can rule it out in thirty seconds rather than after signing up — there is nothing to sign up for.

  • No client-facing app, portal, login or messaging
  • No meal plans, recipe library or grocery lists
  • No scheduling, invoicing, superbills or insurance claims
  • No telehealth, charting or progress notes
  • No sync between devices and no cloud backup
  • No clinical populations — renal, hepatic, pregnancy, paediatric, eating disorders

If you need those, you want practice-management software — Practice Better, Healthie or Nutrium — and this is a companion to it rather than a replacement. See the software comparison.
